In Business for Over 44 years
The story about this company begins in 1982, when it was founded by Dave Flagg Jr., who was then just 19 years old. Flagg's mom answered the phone during the day while he worked to build the business. At night, he worked a second job at a local factory and came home to work on the company's equipment.

The business started with septic tank pumping, then added portable restrooms, septic system installation and service work.
By 1988, the company had grown in both its customer base and the number of employees, and by then a larger facility was needed. A building was constructed at 7059 Highway 47, just south of Union.
The company has continued to grow and built several additions while expanding its service area. Today, Septic Services Inc. now serves nine local counties and has installed more than 7,000 residential and commercial systems serving more than 60,000 customers.
In 1996, Septic Services built the state’s first and only septage treatment facility, processing and testing everything the company hauls to EPA and DNR standards.
“The success over the past 44 years was not achieved by one man, but by many good people working together,” Flagg said. “I’ve been lucky to be surrounded by great customers and employees through the years and many good friends, so it’s like one big family that’s continually growing as we are always adding to the team.”

Our crews have installed over 7,000 complete commercial & residential septic systems and we've serviced over 60,000 septic systems. Septic Services, Inc. has been installing septic and aeration systems since 1982 offering a complete line of commercial & residential septic system services.
Truck Fleet & Sanitation Units
Our fleet of distinctive blue & white vacuum trucks with the familiar outhouse logo range in size from 2700 gallons to 4600 gallons. These trucks pump up to 5 million gallons of waste per year. Our company also supplies over 600 portable restrooms in our signature blue & white along with hand wash stations for thousands of businesses, organizations and events.
