For another year, Septic Services will be supplying all the portable sanitation units for the Washington Town & Country Fair starting August 6th and running until Sunday, August 10th. Crowds, as always, are expected to be huge and we’ll have over 100 units to accommodate all the fairgoers. We’ll also be participating in the highly entertaining outhouse races. Hoping to defend our crown. We’ll post the results after the races on Sunday.

Our contribution to local area schools and churches were so well received last year that we decided to participate again. This year we’re working with St. Clare Catholic School as well as St. Ann’s Church to provide basketball backboard systems that will be auctioned at their dinner events to provide funds for their education programs. We hope it’s a great success again.
Anaerobic vs Aerobic Bacteria

It’s the fight of the century. No, not Ali vs Frazier. It’s anaerobic vs aerobic bacteria and this fight will not be televised. Okay, it’s not even really a fight – just a comparison.
Let round 1 begin.
So let’s look first at bacteria. Well, we can’t really look at them directly. Since they are bacteria they are microscope. We’ll be comparing two types of bacteria – anaerobic and aerobic.
